One RHOD Pal Has Been Waiting for LeeAnne Locken to Get Engaged for a "Few Decades"
See what the #RHOD ladies had to say about the buzzy moment.
LeeAnne Locken let fans of The Real Housewives of Dallas witness a special moment in Monday night's episode. The RHOD charity queen got engaged to her longtime love Rich Emberlin (clip above).
Though LeeAnne didn't initially share the good news with the other RHOD ladies, sensing the explosive Honest Tea event to come, the Dallas squad had nothing but kind words for their pal as they saw the big moment occur on TV.
Brandi Redmond loved that Rich proposed at such a fun venue as the State Fair of Texas. "Excited to see @RichEmberlin & @LeeAnneLocken having fun as a happy couple," she tweeted. "Never too old for the TX State Fair."
Kameron Westcott was ecstatic to see Rich "#putaringonit." "Congrats on your engagement @LeeAnneLocken," she gushed on Twitter. "So happy for you!"
Stephanie Hollman also sent her warm wishes to LeeAnne, even though they've often been at odds this season. "Congratulations to LeeAnne and Rich on the engagement!" she tweeted. "Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and love! Very sweet moment!"
No one was happier to see LeeAnne get engaged than her bestie and RHOD alum Tiffany Hendra. "Where's the Kleenex? Waited for this moment for a few decades. Rich was worth the wait!" she tweeted. "Congrats Fi & Rich. Love y'all."
LeeAnne previously shared all of the details of her engagement with The Daily Dish and said that even though the couple has their naysayers, she always knew they would one day tie the knot. "I figured that there would be a moment that forced him to do it. Rich is not good until you're like, 'OK, look, honey, it's seven o'clock. We have to figure out what we're gonna eat for dinner.' You know what I mean? He's one of those people, he can wait a lifetime. Until he gets to the point where it's important to him, he just doesn't really think about it, you know? And so it just got to the point where it was like, 'This is what I want. I really want this,'" LeeAnne explained. "And honestly, I think he also kind of got tired of hearing people constantly say, 'Rich is never gonna marry you' on social media and some of my other cast. I think he just got to a point where it was like, 'You know what, I'm doing this just because, number one, I was always gonna do it, and number two, it's ridiculous what they're saying!' Just to shut 'em up, you know? I never doubted it."
