Shahs of Sunset Alum Lilly Ghalichi Addresses Divorce Rumors

Lilly Ghalichi addressed speculation that she and her husband, Dara Mir, are getting a divorce after nearly two years of marriage. 

After rumors began circulating that she and Dara were calling it quits, Lilly gave the following statement to Page Six: “The rumors being said are exactly that — rumors,” Lilly said. “Dara and I care for each other very much. He personally is not a public person, and is uncomfortable with my social media."

The rumors have been fueled by Lilly allegedly removing photos of Dara from Instagram, according to Page Six, as well as some puzzling posts, such as the one below that reads, "It's almost Valentine's Day and I don't know what to get myself yet."

Lilly and Dara tied the knot in May 2017. The couple then welcomed their first child, daughter Alara, in September 2018.

After shutting down the divorce rumors to Page Six, Lilly admitted that she and Dara are struggling to find balance when it comes to how much she shares about their personal life on social media. “It is difficult for me, because I have always shared my life through my social media pages — it’s my business,” she told Page Six. “I love my family and my new role as a mother. I would love to share that joy with the world. To be with a partner that wants me to be as conservative, private and inactive as possible on social media can be challenging at times."

Lilly added that she has decided to “socially share nothing about him at all and keep my page strictly ‘Lilly Ghalichi’ instead.”
