Rihanna, Jimmy Kimmel, and More Celebrities Pay Tribute to Chester Bennington

Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington was found dead in his home near Los Angeles on Thursday. He was 41. 

Brian Elias, the chief of operations for the Los Angeles County coroner's office, confirmed the death to The New York Times Thursday. He said it was being investigated as a possible suicide.

Chester is survived by his wife, Talinda, and six children.

His Linkin Park bandmate Mike Shinoda tweeted that he was "shocked and heartbroken" by the news.

 

Many of Chester's famous collaborators, friends, and fans expressed their shock and sadness over his death. Heartfelt tributes to the late singer continue to pour in on social media.
