Kyle Richards Was Initially "Concerned" About Lisa Rinna's Remarks About Kim Richards' Sobriety
"She's worked so hard to get to the place that she's at," the #RHOBH mom said of her sister.
With all of the talk surrounding Kim Richards and her sobriety this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, some fans are wondering if all of the chatter has had an effect on the alum.
One such RHOBH viewer asked Kyle Richards if she felt like everything that Lisa Rinna has said about her sister this season would threaten Kim's sobriety when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "I actually don't," she told the caller. "But honestly, in the beginning that was a concern for me that she's worked so hard to get to the place that she's at, and to have people speak negatively or take her back to a negative place was a concern to me."
Kyle went on to say that Kim is doing well these days, especially after she welcomed grandson Hucksley Andrew Wiederhorn to the family last September. "But I do feel that she's strong enough and happy with her new grandbaby that she's not threatened by that," Kyle explained. "But that was a concern, honestly."
Of course, Kim hasn't been pleased with what Lisa and Eden Sassoon have been saying about her on RHOBH, live tweeting her frustration with their comments during last week's episode. Kyle also recently told The Daily Dish that this season has been a challenging one for her sister. "Kim has been really upset about the things that have been said about her with Lisa Rinna and with Eden," she said. "It's hard hearing those things. She's already defensive because she always feels like she's always under the microscope because of things that she's gone through in the past and things that have happened. So when she hasn't done anything and she's feeling so great and to have these things said, it's upsetting."
We haven't seen the last of Kim and Lisa's drama on RHOBH. Check out what else this season has in store for us, below.
