Andy Cohen Reveals How He Brought Harry Hamlin’s Sauce Back From the RHOBH Reunion
Lisa Rinna gifted Andy Cohen with a jar of her husband's much-praised bolognese during Part 2 of the RHOBH Season 11 reunion.
Lisa Rinna’s husband Harry Hamlin is quite the chef, as viewers learned this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. When it comes to discussing Harry's culinary prowess, Lisa has not held back.
"Harry is an amazing cook," she said on the July 7 episode. "Some of his specialties are his Kobe beef, which is the 'Harry's meat,' blueberry pie, and there's bolognese. Harry's bolognese is so well known."
The subject of Harry's "heavenly" home cooking — and gardening that he began at the height of the pandemic — came up during Part 2 of the reunion, which aired on October 20.
"Harry is the domestic one," said Lisa in a clip shown of Harry flexing his skills in the kitchen as he prepared an Italian-themed dinner party for the 'Wives. During the Season 11 sit-down, Andy brought up a viewer's question related to Harry's sauce that he had previously given to Garcelle Beauvais. After noting what a nice gesture it was, the fan wanted to know if Garcelle would rather be friends with Harry over Lisa.
"I've loved Harry for a very long time," responded Garcelle, adding, "Harry!" At that moment, Lisa revealed a gift she brought along with her to the reunion for Andy.
“You brought me sauce, are you kidding me?” Andy said with surprise as Lisa handed him a jar of none other than Harry's sauce, made with tomatoes from his garden.
“Make sure when you eat it, you send a text the next day,” Kyle Richards chimed in, to which Garcelle added, "I was about to say, you better send him a text right this second!" Both 'Wives were referring to an issue Lisa had earlier this season when she expressed disappointment about Garcelle not showing gratitude when she was given some of Harry's sauce, though Garcelle did thank the couple in the moment.
After Andy made sure to thank Harry for the gift, he later added, "Wow, I'm so excited about that. I've got to figure out how I'm going to get that home."
As it turns out, Harry Hamlin’s sauce made it safe and sound to New York City with Andy, as Lisa shared in an October 20 Instagram post, above. He also recently mentioned about it on Twitter after a fan wondered why Andy couldn’t just “carry it in [his] hands” back home.
“I don’t check my bags — took much liquid for a carry on! (I shipped it!)” wrote Andy in reply.
The RHOBH Season 11 reunion continues with Part 3 on Wednesday, October 27 at 8/7c.
