Harry Hamlin's Defense of Lisa Rinna Will Make You Question If She Actually Said Those Comments About Kim Richards
Just when you thought the case was closed on this #RHOBH drama...
We should all be so lucky to find someone who loves us the way Harry Hamlin loves his wife Lisa Rinna. When Harry appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Wednesday night, he came to his wife's defense while discussing some of the most controversial moments of this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, like the amazing husband that he is.
Of course, Harry kind of found himself embroiled in some RHOBH drama when he advised Lisa on her conflict with Kim Richards and helped her remember that she did, in fact, question her sobriety during a conversation with Eden Sassoon. Lisa eventually owned her comments in front of all of the RHOBH ladies, but now Harry is saying that she didn't actually say what she's been accused of. "Well, wait a minute. If you look at the syntax of what you said, the words were, 'They're this close to Kim dying.' What does that mean, 'They're this close to Kim dying'? She never said, 'Kim's this close to death.' The words, you've got to go back and look at the words," he told Andy Cohen on WWHL. "So out of context, it sounds like that, but it wasn't that. She never said Kim was 'this close.' What she was referring to was what Kyle [Richards] said about the fact that she was waiting for that phone call to come sometime late at night. She was terrified of that."
Well, that sounds like an argument from a lawyer — or at least someone who has played one on TV. Even though Lisa admitted to saying those comments about Kim, thanks to Harry's defense, we have to admit that we're now starting to question whether or not she actually did say what everyone is saying she did. Consider our minds blown.
Harry also addressed Lisa's most recent RHOBH controversy: whether or not she has actually put a Xanax in her smoothie before. "There has never been a Xanax in a smoothie," Harry said. "We do have smoothies in our house, and from time to time, there's a little bit of Xanax for flying long distances. The two have never come together."
The RHOBH husband also confirmed that Lisa "absolutely" has a sixth sense, which she said helped her pick up on Dorit Kemsley talking about that infamous smoothie moment behind her back. Harry also said that despite all of the drama Lisa has continued to have with Kim this season, she is letting it be. "It's time to move on!" he said.
But before Lisa did that, Harry helped her gift Kim with that stuffed animal bunny to her baby grandson. "She came to me and said, 'Look, I've got this bunny and Kim has a grandchild.' And she said, 'I don't know if I should give it to her because it could be weird,'" Harry shared. "And I said, 'Wait, it's for the grandchild. The sins of the grandparents, don't put it on the kid. If it's from your heart, give it to Kim, and she will accept it from the heart,' and then we know what happened."
Lisa sent her love to Harry during his WWHL appearance on Twitter. "Harry Hamlin is a f***ing stud!" she exclaimed.
And Lisa is totally loving the new bromance that has bloomed between Harry and his fellow WWHL guest Van Jones.
