Lisa Rinna's Mom Lois Has Passed Away
The RHOBH cast member shared a sweet tribute to her mother: "Heaven has a new angel."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Lisa Rinna has shared the sad news that her mom, Lois, has passed away. "Lois DeAndrade Rinna June 7, 1928 - November 15 2021 5:05am," Lisa shared on Instagram on Monday (November 15). "Heaven Has a New Angel."
She posted the tribute alongside a throwback, black-and-white photo of Lois. The news comes just days after Lisa shared with fans that her mom had a stroke.
Lisa's daughter, Amelia Gray Hamlin, also posted a throwback photo of her grandmother with other family moments and photos with Lois, along with a tribute to the family matriarch, on Instagram.
"My guardian angel for the rest of time.. I love you so much my Lolo," Amelia wrote. "You were and will always be much more than a grandma to me.. you were my best friend. My strength. My rock. My everything. Your laughter never failed to light up any room you ever walked in. Anyone who got the pleasure to meet you was so blessed.. there will never be anyone like you. Thank you for being the strength our family needed. Thank you for teaching us what it means to be a strong woman… and just like that.. you’re back with [your late husband] Frank."
Amelia concluded the post, "I know they’re having a party for you.. and you are dancing your way through heaven… you’ll never be gone… 'I did it my way.' 'Me too.' 5:05 am …"
Lisa's other daughter, Delilah Belle Hamlin, also shared a sweet and emotional tribute for her grandmother to Instagram on Monday. "Nana, What a special human you were. There are no words to encapsulate how amazing you were. This journey has been such a sad, shocking, yet beautiful experience because I know now you get to be with Frank and be reunited with the love of your life, while looking as beautiful as ever. Heaven has certainly gained a beautiful, smart, entertaining, compassionate, loving angel this morning at 5:05 am," she wrote alongside a series of photos.
"I will never forget you nana. I love you more than you have ever probably known," she added. "You were a fighter. You taught and showed me the meaning of strength."
RHOBH viewers got to know Lois over the years, and she definitely emerged as a fan favorite. Lisa's mom made several notable appearances on the series, sharing with viewers insights into her life as well as her loving relationship with her famous daughter and family.
After sharing the news of Lois' passing, Lisa and her family received an outpouring of love from the Bravo family. Melissa Gorga, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Sutton Stracke, Kyle Richards, Teresa Giudice, and Stephanie Hollman were among those who showed support for Lisa in the comments section of her post on Instagram.
