Amelia Gray Hamlin Spills on Her Boyfriend: "I Love Him So Much, He's So Cute"
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter explains how she instantly fell for her "normal" boyfriend.
When it comes to her love life, Lisa Rinna’s daughter, Amelia Gray Hamlin, usually tends to stay pretty private. That recently changed when The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter spilled all of the details of her current relationship on an episode of Dear Media’s The Skinny Confidential Him and Her Podcast.
During the interview, Amelia confirmed that she currently has a boyfriend.
“His name is Mercer. It’s a cute name. I love him so much,” said Amelia, before explaining how the pair met. “I had just broken up with my former boyfriend, and I was like, ready to be an independent bitch. And then I just like, was at my sister’s apartment one day. She was out of town, and I had a few friends over, and one of my best friends Nick was like, I’m going to bring my friend Mercer, and I was like, okay, fine.”
From there, Amelia says she had an instant connection with Mercer, before they even spoke.
“We were literally just watching a movie, and then like, I don’t know if you’ve ever had this feeling, but when he walked in, I don’t think I like, registered what he looked like. I was just like, him, like, that’s the one. I didn’t even have a conversation with him or anything, it was almost like his energy,” she said. “His aura was just like affecting me. And I’m not really one to say, I don’t even think I’ve ever said that in my whole entire life, but it really happened.”
Amelia went on to explain Mercer is “just like a normal kid.” He does, however, already have an interesting connection to RHOBH. Last year at BravoCon, alum Kim Richards confirmed her daughter Brooke's husband is actually Mercer's brother.
On the podcast, Amelia also noted that she is “not really a sexual person,” which is something she’s working on.
“I wish I was, but I’m just not. It probably has something to do with my hormones,” she said. When asked how that has impacted her relationship, she explained, “It’s not like one of us is more sexual than the other. I just feel like I don’t need sex in my life. I don’t always crave it, and I’m not like, you know, the first one to make the move all the time, which is like, the biggest thing we need, we always have to work on.”
