Lisa Vanderpump Just Schooled Stassi Schroeder on a Very Important Fact About Herself
The Vanderpump Rules restaurateur corrected the National OOTD Day creator on this issue.
On Monday night's episode of Vanderpump Rules, Stassi Schroeder was flying high after establishing her own holiday, National OOTD (Outfit of the Day) Day, and she celebrated her success with a party in which all of her friends could show off their choice ensembles.
"Outfit of the day is something I talk about in my podcast, I'm going to write about in my book, and is something I look forward to every day," Stassi said, explaining the process she took to create the holiday. "I had to find what this company was that does all of these national holidays, and then they were like, well, you have to get a website, and so then once they approved it, I'm a f--king holiday owner." She further noted, "Lisa [Vanderpump] doesn't even own a holiday."
Well, sorry to burst your bubble, Stassi, but that's not exactly the case. Lisa took to Twitter to clarify: "I actually do [Stassi] March 1 is Lisa Vanderpump Day in Beverly Hills."
In fact, Beverly Hills mayor Jimmy Delshad declared the holiday in 2011 and gave Lisa an exclusive key to the city. He named the holiday for her in recognition of "her charitable and philanthropic work," according to her site, LisaVanderpump.com.
Lisa reportedly responded to the honor by saying: “I’m taken by surprise, really ... the charity work I do is from the heart and I do them privately. I’m lucky and fortunate I can give back to others. Mayor Delshad left me speechless as he recognized me for something I do from the kindness of my heart. I’m honored and will be forever grateful to the Mayor Delshad and to the city of Beverly Hills.”
So, it looks like congrats are in order to both Stassi and Lisa!
