Lisa Vanderpump Plays Defense

Buckle up, it's going to be a rollercoaster reunion.

By Lauren Metz

Lisa Vanderpump is usually one to roll with the punches. Usually. "I spent most of the reunion, unfortunately, not in tears, but in defense mode," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star confides to NBCUniversal Direct.

So what turned her trademark witty-go-jokester mood so sour? "I find it really difficult. It's quite hard when you go through a show and you're kind of in your own world, which I was very much. I was having fun and working really hard. But when you see things aired and you see things being said, it's kind of upsetting," Lisa says. "So, I felt I was in defense mode for a lot of it."

In a preview of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' whopping three-part reunion, Team Pump is shown adamantly defending her rep. "I've never sold a story in my life and I won’t be accused of that," she shouts across the couches to her former neighbor, who snaps back, "I don't believe that for a minute."

Well, at least Lisa looked good while springing to her own defense. "I just saw @chrismakowsky dress on @lisavanderpump at the #RHOBH reunion. Ravishing, simply ravishing!!!" the designer tweeted. "yep but a suit of armor would've been better," Pinky quipped back.

Watch the ladies rehash all of this season's drama beginning with part one of the reunion, airing Monday, January 30.
