Lisa Vanderpump Sets the Record Straight on Rumors She's Leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
The RHOBH restaurateur addresses reports about her involvement in Season 9.
Lisa Vanderpump addressed rumors about her future on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at her 3rd Annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 15. "I haven't said anything for two months. Now, everybody's been talking about this. I've just been going about my business and doing my things," she told ET at the event. "I am in the show. I have not quit, and if I did quit, it wouldn't just be a leaked story. I would be up front, and I have a lot of loyalty to the production company and the network."
But Lisa noted that it's been a "difficult" and "very challenging" season, as well as "a difficult year for me personally." (Lisa's brother, Mark Vanderpump, passed away in April.)
Lisa also confirmed that she will appear in the upcoming Season 9 of RHOBH. “I am in this season,” she told PEOPLE and other reporters at the Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala. “Obviously there are some parts I missed and you’ll see why. I think maybe we’ll have a better understanding when you watch the show.”
As for beyond that, Lisa said that "remains to be seen," according to ET. "I'm just concentrating on this season. I'm concentrating on this party tonight, which is all about raising as much money for these poor creatures, and we're also in China now, we've opened a sanctuary there," Lisa explained. "It's about celebrating this week because we're opening a restaurant in Vegas, so that's been announced. And it's about, again, Vanderpump Rules is coming out, and it's a lot of fun."
Lisa, who has been a part of RHOBH since Season 1, has certainly been keeping busy as her name has popped up in the press often in recent weeks. In addition to continuing her animal-focused philanthropy and activism, Lisa has been organizing relief efforts for the deadly wildfires in California. On a professional note, she also announced earlier this week that she will be partnering with Caesars Palace to open the new Vanderpump Cocktail Garden in Las Vegas in early 2019.
We will also catch up more with Lisa when Vanderpump Rules returns for Season 7 on Monday, December 3 at 9/8c. See what you can expect from the new season, below.
