"Welcome to Vanderpump Dogs!"
This June, Lisa Vanderpump is taking fans inside her West Hollywood rescue center, which she founded in 2016, in a new series aptly titled Vanderpump Dogs, streaming June 9 only on Peacock.
"We created this rescue center and with our incredible team, we have found homes for more than 2,000 dogs," LVP says in the funny, cuddly, and heartwarming trailer, above. She also has some words of wisdom to share with future pet parents.
First off, "It's like a dating process. You want to have a little foreplay before you go all the way."
Also, "This isn't a one-night stand. This is a lifelong relationship."
Speaking of lifelong relationships, there's even a pooch featured in the series who looks like LVP's lifelong partner, husband Ken Todd. Well, at least according to her.
Lisa is joined by Dr. Andrew Y. Kushnir, Summer Loftis, Brian Marshall, Patrick Miller-Wren, Madeline Quint, and Kendall Young on the series.
According to a press release, the series "brings fans and pet lovers deeper into Lisa Vanderpump’s luxurious life, by chronicling the stories and adoptions that occur at her beloved namesake foundation: Vanderpump Dogs, West Hollywood. The rescue center was founded in 2016 with the goal of reinventing the image of a dog shelter, from a pound to a palace, doing everything the Vanderpump way: they rescue, rehabilitate, primp, and pamper dogs in need of a loving forever home."
The press release adds, "Each episode will follow the characters who come to the foundation to adopt their forever friend, the committed (and gorgeous) employees, the adorable pups, and Lisa Vanderpump herself - all with a dose of comedy, a dash of drama, and a whole lot of heart."
