The event was held in honor of Lisa and Ken's Vanderpump Dogs charity, which aims to help less fortunate dogs as well as put a stop to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China. Lisa headed to Twitter to thank the folks who came out to bring attention to the cause that's very close to her heart. "Thank you to all of you for your support today. #StopYulinForever," she wrote. "Thank you to @leonalewis & @LanceBass & the 4K people who came out to support #WorldDogDay and @VanderpumpDogs."

She also made sure to remind everyone one more time that there is only a matter of time before the 2016 Yulin Festival. The event is currently held annually in the Guangxi province of China, during which thousands of dogs are killed for their meat. "Let us not forget #stopyulin2016 The clock is ticking," she wrote.
