Lisa Vanderpump Mourns the Loss of Her Dog Giggy: “He Was Truly Loved”
The Vanderpump Rules boss and husband Ken Todd are "devastated" by the loss of their beloved Pomeranian.
Lisa Vanderpump is mourning the loss of her beloved Pomeranian, Giggy. The Vanderpump Rules matriarch took to Instagram to pay an emotional tribute to her late dog, who passed away on Saturday, December 12.
“We are devastated to say that our beloved Giggy has passed away this morning. He was truly loved, and we know how many of you loved him too,” Lisa wrote alongside a close-up photo of the pooch.
She went on to detail how Giggy inspired her and husband Ken Todd to start their own dog rescue organization. “Our sweet Gigolo was such an incredible, unique dog, but mainly, because of him, we started The Vanderpump Dog Foundation and embarked on our mission to save as many dogs as possible,” she wrote. “He inspired us to start our work in rescue, and for that we will always be grateful.”
She concluded the touching message by writing,”Giggy’s legacy will live on, through every dog @vanderpumpdogs saves. Thank you all for your support. Rest In Peace Giggy, we love you. - Ken & Lisa.”
Following the sad news, Andy Cohen also took to his Instagram Stores to pay homage to Giggy, who was a staple on Vanderpump Rules and a recurring guest on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
“RIP Giggy!! It’s a sad day in Bravo nation,” he wrote alongside a throwback photo with Lisa and Giggy, later dubbing Giggy "the first dog of Bravo.”
