Why Danna Is “Freaking Out” About Meeting Her Love Without Borders Match
After selling her van to move abroad, Danna is worried about what will happen if her Love Without Borders match is a dud.
Finding love sometimes involves taking a leap of faith, but the Love Without Borders cast members are putting all of their blind trust in Arica Angelo.
The matchmaker is setting up five American singletons from all around the country who all have one thing in common: They haven’t found love in the States. Now, for one reason or another, they each want to look for that lasting, one-of-a-kind connection abroad.
Danna Richards, a 38-year-old singer-songwriter from Montana, is giving up her nomadic lifestyle of residing in a refurbished Sprinter van to give love a chance overseas.
However, on the flight to her mystery destination (viewers can find out where she’s going on the November 30 premiere), Danna faces some doubts about whether following her heart is the right call.
In the preview clip above, Danna takes a few minutes to collect her thoughts in the airplane restroom.
“I’m on the plane, and I’m actually having a really hard time with this,” the songstress says about the prospect of meeting her match. “I thought I would feel so excited, and I am excited, but I’m also freaking out a little bit.”
She’s concerned about what could happen if she has to return to the United States.
“I want to go, but I’m so scared that it’s all gonna fall apart,” she adds, before mentioning that she has a fear that she will be “left stranded and have nothing to come home to.”
“I’m struggling. I’m really trying hard to just surrender to this process [and] know that things are happening for me and not to me...” she concludes. “I want to get off this plane and go home, and I don’t have a home to go back to.”
Will Danna book a return trip as soon as she lands, or will she give Love Without Borders (and Arica!) a chance.
