First, Luann de Lesseps announced that Difficult People will be returning for Season 2 last August. Now, The Real Housewives of New York City countess may be guest starring on the Hulu original comedy — and with one of her castmates, to boot. Luann posted this pic of herself on the set of Difficult People with Sonja Morgan on Twitter Tuesday, and we can only hope that we'll be able to stream their performance very soon.
Difficult People's Season 2 guest stars haven't been officially announced yet, but Luann and Sonja wouldn't be the first Bravolebs to appear on the show. Andy Cohen had a cameo in Season 1 of the series that featured him taking the coveted role of Watch What Happens Live bartender away from aspiring comedian Billy Epstein (Billy Eichner).
And that's not the only Bravo connection to Difficult People. In the series, Julie Klausner plays Billy's friend and fellow aspiring comedian Julie Kessler, and she also writes Real Housewives recaps on the side to make ends meet. If Luann and Sonja do end up having cameos on the upcoming season of Difficult People, we can only guess that they could end up having an awkward run-in with Julie, who doesn't always have the nicest things to say about the people she blogs about, as we saw with Kathie Lee Gifford on Season 1.
Luckily, any sort of beef between Luann and Julie would just be for TV as the two actually hang out together in real life. That's more than we can say for Billy, who has had some real drama with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Lisa Rinna in the past. Relive the whole sordid tale, below.
