Luann de Lesseps Is Thankful for the "Warmth, Kindness and Understanding" Following Her Divorce News

Luann de Lesseps is feeling the love. Shortly after The Real Housewives of New York City mom announced that she and husband Tom D'Agostino plan to divorce on Twitter last week, Luann shared her gratitude for those who have comforted her during this difficult time. "Thank you for the generous expression of warmth, kindness and understanding," Luann tweeted. "Your support and encouragement helps me to get through."

This was Luann's first tweet since she confirmed the news of her divorce on Twitter on August 3. "It's with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce," Luann shared. "We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!"

Luann has received an outpouring of support from fans and Housewives alike since she announced the breakup, including Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Tinsley Mortimer, Kelly Bensimon, Marysol Patton, and Dina Manzo.
