LuAnn de Lesseps Eyes 'Dancing with the Stars'
Could she go from Countess to (dancing) queen?
Bethenny Frankel had her fun twirling across the ice on Skating with the Stars, and now the Real Housewives of New York City's LuAnn de Lesseps wants a piece of the sequined action.
"I love Dancing with the Stars and would definitely consider doing this show," L writes in her weekly What Would the Countess Do column for OK! Magazine.
And the Countess-turned-singer-turned-actress promises to bring her best salsa moves to the dance floor so the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy can one day go on display in her new NYC apartment. "I would give the other contestants a run for their money since I'm athletic and I love to dance," writes the mom of two, who hopes to join the ranks of Jennifer Grey, Shawn Johnson, and Brooke Burke.
As for this season, the Countess took it upon herself to critique the latest batch of celebrity dancers. (Who needs Carrie Ann and Bruno, after all?) "I'm rooting for Wendy Williams and Kirstie Alley, but appreciate the athleticism of Sugar Ray Leonard and Mike Catherwood," the 'Wife reveals. At least some of that appreciation will be short-lived -- Mike Catherwood was sent home this week.
