Sorry, But Sonja Doesn’t Believe Luann Didn’t Hook Up with the St. Barths Pirate
The RHONY cast member shed some new light on the infamous Season 5 fling.
Luann de Lesseps and the St. Barths pirate remains, to this day, one of the most iconic The Real Housewives of New York City moments ever.
The scandal included the pirate named Tomas who looked like Johnny Depp — and a phone call conducted in French that seemed to suggest something happened between Luann and Tomas (is it always about a Tom?).
Well, these days the Countess, in her cabaret show, says nothing ever happened between her and the pirate, as Andy Cohen noted. However when Sonja Morgan was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen recently, she offered up a different take on the matter.
"Well there must be another word for 'f-ing' then," she said, nothing that she believes something "definitely" happened.
She also offered up some insight into how he ended up in their circle during that trip. "He's hot. He was married to my girlfriend," she explained, adding that he was not married at the time of the trip. "She said, 'take him for spin.' And I said 'I'm down'... Luann just gets right in there like always. What can I do with Luann? She's family."
