Luann de Lesseps Addresses the Amount She Pays Sonja Morgan for Appearing in Her Cabaret Show
The RHONY cast had a lot of feelings about Sonja's participation in Luann's cabaret show.
Luann de Lesseps' cabaret show was a hot topic during the July 9 episode of The Real Housewives of New York City.
Actually, Sonja Morgan's role in the show and her prior experience as a performer versus the other folks who appear in #CountessandFriends, as well as the amount Lu pays her to appear in it ($225, to be exact), was the true matter that was up for discussion during the girls' trip up to the Berkshires (because, of course, the Berkshires).
While Luann and Sonja faced off over the fee and the cabaret show — and it all became rather emotional for the group, specifically Sonja — the cabaret performer later took to Twitter clarify her stance on the buzzy topic. "FYI..I pay [Sonja] like I pay everyone in my show ....well," Luann tweeted on Thursday.
When Sonja appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday, she shared her thoughts on the cabaret show today. "I think her cabaret is amazing and it's very entertaining and whenever I can go, I do go," she said. "I love it. The atmosphere is just fabulous."
In the WWHL clip above, Sonja addresses some other buzzy RHONY Season 12 moments, which you can check out for yourself.
While Luann uninvited Sonja from performing with her on RHONY during the July 9 episode, Luann launched her cabaret show back in 2018, with Sonja appearing with her in that debut performance. You can check out footage from that night, below.
