Luann de Lesseps Reveals How She Feels About RHONY Newbie Leah McSweeney
The RHONY mom says the newest addition had "difficult shoes to fill."
The newest member of The Real Housewives of New York City squad, Leah McSweeney, has already made a splashy debut, thanks to her “zero filter” tendencies (as Tinsley Mortimer described) — but that’s only the beginning. OG ‘Wife Luann de Lesseps recently spilled more details about how Leah fit in with the rest of the RHONY crew and how she personally feels about the newcomer.
The New York City Housewives are a lively bunch, but Leah already seems to be holding her own, as Luann acknowledged in a recent interview with Us Weekly. “It’s not an easy place to walk into, as we’ve all been around for a while, for many years. So, I think it’s difficult shoes to fill,” she said. “I think she really fit in.”
Luann went on to describe Leah, who owns the successful clothing line Married to the Mob, as a “tough New Yorker,” also adding, “She’s self-made. She’s a mother. So, she’s highly relatable. At the same time, she’s very vulnerable. So, I think that’s very interesting.”
Luann isn’t the only RHONY ‘Wife who seems to be embracing Leah. Dorinda Medley spoke out about the new addition back in November, telling BravoTV.com, “She's quite a little number. I really like her. She's really good."
