Luann de Lesseps Confirms Who Is (and Isn't) Invited to Her Wedding
Find out which of her #RHONY pals have made the cut so far.
The countdown is on. Luann de Lesseps will be walking down the aisle with her fiancé Thomas D'Agostino, Jr. in a little more than four months.
The Countess has already dropped a few hints about her upcoming nuptials over the past few months, saying that it will be taking place on New Year's Eve in Palm Beach, Florida, and she'll be wearing three wedding dresses for the big night, which also happens to be Tom's 50th birthday.
But we just learned what else Luann has up her sleeve for her wedding attire, and it's sure to be très chic. "I'm doing [a] very traditional to walk down the aisle," The Real Housewives of New York City fashionista shared during a recent interview with SiriusXM's Wake Up with Taylor. "Very fitted and lacy, and at the same time, a little sexy. And I'm gonna wear a veil."
Luann said she wants to keep things classic for her fiancé. "I want to be traditional," she said. "Tom's never been married, so I want him to have a real bride. I want him to see a real bride walking down the aisle."
That also means Luann will be wearing white, in addition to other sophisticated hues. "My thoughts are why not wear white? Why not wear white? I mean, I'm doing a little white, a little creme, a little blush," Luann explained. "So I'm wearing three dresses. You know, the traditional one, the one where I might sing a song for him, and it's New Year's Eve, so it's time to ring in the New Year."
It sounds like Luann is definitely planning on going out with a bang. "The end of the night dress is a bit revealing with some bling but elegant at the same time," she said before reminding us, "Elegance is learned, my friend."
As for who's going to see Luann in those three dresses, that's not totally decided yet, according to the Countess. Luann addressed reports about her wedding guest list, saying that she has not yet sent out her invitations, but she did send save the dates.
Luann confirmed that Dorinda Medley and RHONY alum Jill Zarin received the save the date. But as for reports that Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Bethenny Frankel aren't invited to the wedding, Luann responded, "I'd say they're not invited for the moment."
A report also said that Jules Wainstein and Carole Radziwill's invitation status is unknown. "I don't have a problem with Carole and Jules," Luann said in response.
Well, this is shaping up to be a wedding we'll never forget.
But do some of Luann's RHONY castmates have doubts that she'll actually end up walking down the aisle? Ramona weighs in, below.
