Luis D. Ortiz Celebrates His Daughter Leela's First Birthday with a Sweet Video
The Million Dollar Listing New York agent says Leela is his "life."
Luis D. Ortiz’s sweet daughter, Leela, is one year old! The Million Dollar Listing New York agent celebrated the little girl’s first birthday with a fun video compilation of some of the most adorable moments from her party.
“Leela’s birthday party! Leela, you’re my life!” Luis wrote in a caption alongside the video. “And to the most amazing mother, Nikita, thank you!”
The video features footage of Luis playfully dancing around with Leela on his shoulders. There’s also a cute moment of the MLDNY baby playing in the shower, and another bit where she’s blowing out her very first candle with her mother, Nikita.
Luis has shared a number of photos of Leela recently, showering her with love on Instagram. He simply captioned this heart-melting black and white photo, “I love her.”
On January 18, the proud father posted a snap of Leela painting with both Nikita and Luis. The tot was covered in paint, and seemed to be having a blast creating some cute art.
In November, Luis announced that he would be moving back to his hometown in Puerto Rico with Leela and Nikita. At the time, he explained his decision by describing the “energy” Leela had when he first brought her to Puerto Rico.
“Now I am driven by a real purpose, and this time I’m not scared because it’s reassuring, the realization that I finally arrived in a place of substance. Oh, Leela, you changed my life. You saved my life,” he said.
Luis has not spoken about his relationship with Leela’s mother, Nikita, since last September, when he explained that they are not romantically involved, “for now.” He said that Nikita is “someone who is going to be a co-parent with me,” and it seems that the duo has done an amazing job so far.
