Your First Look at Million Dollar Listing New York Season 8!

Who could forget when Luis D. Ortiz made the life-changing decision to step away from real estate during the Season 5 finale of Million Dollar Listing New York? Definitely not us. In the years since, Luis has traveled the globe and, yes, even popped up on MDLNY to hang with pals Fredrik Eklund and Ryan Serhant in the midst of his sabbatical. But he's largely kept out of the TV spotlight, instead opting to jet-set around the world and see what it has to offer.

How to Watch

Catch up on Million Dollar Listing New York on Peacock or the Bravo App.

Well, after all this time away, Luis, as it turns out, is ready for his close-up again. As fans saw in the trailer for the upcoming Season 8 of MDLNY, Luis is back in the Big Apple — and he's ready to dig back into the real estate game (clip above).

"Back into business," he shares in the trailer... and, as you may have noticed, he's rocking a way, way edgier look than anything we've ever seen him wear before, as you can see in the video above. Believe us, it's worth checking out.

Luis joins returning agents Ryan, Fredrik, and Steve Gold — as well as newbie MDLNY agent Tyler Whitman — for the new season, which kicks off Thursday, August 1 at 9/8c. And in addition to having to deal with the stress of re-entering the ever-changing real estate landscape in NYC to prove he's still got it, Luis will also be dealing with some drama in his personal life.

Still, as Luis notes in the trailer, "It's nice to be back."

It's nice to have you back!

And you can relive the unforgettable Season 5 moment when he quit real estate, below.
