Lydia McLaughlin Clarifies Her Comments About Drag and the Bible
The #RHOC pal reveals what she really meant to say.
When The Real Housewives of Orange County crew stepped out in drag earlier this season, Lydia McLaughlin participated in the, um, ladies' night but also wasn't shy about expressing her reservations when it came to her faith and drag (clip above). When Lydia appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday, she clarified what she meant by her statement.
"I felt like I was misunderstood a little when I'm quoted and I say that drag queens aren't in the Bible. What I meant by that was I didn't know a verse that meant like 'Oh, I can't go and participate in this,'" she explained. "I wasn't meaning like 'Drag queens aren't in the bible, so therefore they're somehow excluded from God's promises or something."
