Does David Pascoe Still Have Feelings for Malia White After She Rejected Him?

We finally know just how compatible the Below Deck Med crew members actually are, thanks to Andy Cohen.

Are Malia and David Compatible as a Couple?

Malia White came into this season of Below Deck Mediterranean fresh off of her breakup with Tom Checketts, but that didn't stop David Pascoe from shooting his shot — not once, but twice — with the bosun.

After asking Malia if she would ever see him "as someone more than you worked with," David more explicitly told the bosun that he was "fully into" her during one of the crew's nights off earlier this season. However, Malia turned David down, explaining to the deckhand, "This past year, I've had a very f--ked up love life. I just wanna be single."

When the yachties made a virtual appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on September 27, the titular host wanted to know how David felt about Malia after that night as the charter season continued. "Towards the end of the season, did your feelings for Malia fade, or were you just quieter about them?" Andy Cohen asked David.

"I'm always gonna appreciate Malia as a person," David said in response. "It's just maybe that element of it kind of slipped away."

Besides, Malia has begun a new relationship with Jake, Lady Michelle's engineer in Season 6. She confirmed on WWHL that they began dating after the charter season and are still together today. David has no hard feelings, by the way, sharing that he was not jealous when he heard about the new couple.

But Andy couldn't resist putting on his Love Connection hat, asking David and Malia several romantic questions to see how compatible they would actually be (clip above), including their thoughts on splitting the bill on a first date, pursuing a charter guest, and if they agree that "once a cheater, always a cheater."

It turns out that David and Malia's answers actually matched on eight out of the 10 questions, prompting Andy to suggest that maybe they should give it a shot "if it doesn't work out with Jake the hot engineer." The WWHL guests had a good sense of humor about Andy's comments, with Malia joking that she would let Jake know.
