Jennifer Aydin Reveals the RHONJ Moment That She’s “Highly Embarrassed” About

Plenty of heated words were exchanged when the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and their husbands took a trip to the Jersey Shore on the March 31 episode. But with everything that went down, there’s one moment that is still making Jennifer Aydin cringe.
The Garden State mom opened up about her bout of secondhand embarrassment on the April 3 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, which you can listen to below.
During a dinner at Frank and Dolores Catania’s shore house, tensions arose when Teresa Giudice shared a revelation that Margaret Josephs’ husband, Joe Benigno, had previously mentioned at boys’ night. When Teresa told the table that Joe had admitted he also heard the rumors, Margaret immediately denied it. Jennifer—who is the one who told Teresa about boys’ night—chimed in to say it was true, which is when things started to go south.
Jennifer explained why she shared the information with Teresa on the podcast, explaining, “I never thought it was a secret when I was telling Teresa in the first place. Joe, at boys’ night, as you guys saw, did not say it was a secret. Did not say, ‘Don’t go back and tell any of the women.’ I think the point is already implied when he is spilling that kind of tea that these men are going to go back and tell their wives what happened at boys’ night.”
“My shock was how Margaret reacted to me when Teresa was the one who brought it up,” said Jennifer, also adding, “I think that she was angry and pissed off that her husband put her on blast. And instead of yelling at Teresa, she yells at me and her husband, which was very embarrassing by the way, okay? I thought that was belittling to Joe. Joe is such a sweetie, he’s a cutie pie, and I get it. You sometimes want to yell at your husband. You definitely shouldn’t do that in front of people.”
“The way that she was yelling at him, I was really highly embarrassed,” Jennifer continued. “We all calculate things different as to what we think is embarrassing.”
