Margaret Josephs Opens Up About What Makes Luis “Louie” Ruelas Perfect for Teresa Giudice
The RHONJ cast member revealed why Teresa and Louie are a good match.
When Teresa Giudice first brought her now-husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, around The Real Housewives of New Jersey crew, Margaret Josephs was critical of the relationship.
Throughout Season 12, the RHONJ OG and Margaret butted heads regarding rumors the latter cast member had heard about Louie. And although Margaret and Teresa made amends on the Season 13 premiere — and Margaret even attended Teresa’s wedding in August 2022 — the two were no longer on good terms by the time the reunion was filmed.
However, during a recent appearance on Jeff Lewis’ radio series, Margaret shared a positive comment about Louie and how he has been a good influence on Teresa.
Margaret Josephs’ Thoughts on Teresa Giudice and Louie Ruelas as a Couple
On Jeff’s radio series, the Flipping Out alum brought up a recent conversation he had with fellow RHONJ cast member Dolores Catania about Louie and Teresa.
“What Dolores said is that Louie has actually been a very good influence on [Teresa] and gets her to kind of take a look at her role in things,” Jeff explained, before addressing Margaret. “Do you find that to be true?”
“I do find that to be true,” Margaret said, and her husband, Joe Benigno agreed, adding, “Yeah, that’s true.”
Margaret then shared a positive remark about the RHONJ husband.
“You know, that is one thing about Louie,” she added. “He’s very therapeutic. He does tell her to take a pause and look at her part in it.”

Following the RHONJ Season 13 reunion, Margaret has been keeping busy with a few of her longtime pals.
She and husband Joe stepped out with Dolores and her beau, Paul “Paulie” Connell, for a mutual friend’s 50th birthday on August 5.
“Celebrate with a bang and get lost in the night!” she wrote.
Margaret Josephs and Jackie Goldschneider’s Friendship
The “powerhouse in pigtails” also recently offered an update on her friendships with Jackie Goldschneider and her husband, Evan Goldschneider. Margaret and Joe double-dated with the RHONJ friend and her husband back in July.
“A good time called and we answered,” Margaret wrote in a caption alongside a photo of the four on their double date, adding the hashtag “friends forever.”
Jackie shared the same image on her Instagram feed and poked fun at the fact that she was standing closer to Margaret’s husband, while Margaret was standing above Evan.
“Wife swap… alfresco style!” Jackie wrote. “Love my Margie.”
