On March 9, Marlo commemorated Michael’s recent accomplishments with a series of family photos on Instagram. In one post, the 13-year-old can be seen walking out of school and flashing up a big smile while proudly holding up a certificate for Virtual Student of the Week.

“Congrats to my nephew Michael on making Student of the Week,” Marlo wrote in the caption of the snapshots, also adding the name the boys affectionately call her, “Munty Marlo" (a hybrid between “mom” and “aunty”).

She concluded her message with hashtags that read “my reason” and “the only thing I have time for.”

That wasn’t Marlo’s only proud aunt moment of the week. On March 11, Marlo returned to Instagram to share a picture of her joyfully carrying Michael on her back.

“Guess what?! Michael made Honor Roll too!” she captioned the sweet snapshot. “I’m super proud... can’t you tell?”

The post drew plenty of praise and encouraging comments from Marlo’s fellow Bravolebs. “Great job Michael!” RHOA’s Kandi Burruss wrote while Cynthia Bailey’s husband, Mike Hill, added, “That’s right young King!!! Great job brother Michael! Great job Marlo!

Last year, Marlo opened up raising her two nephews and how much the experience means to her. “My nephews mean everything to me! With them, I’m learning how to raise children and young men can be challenging,” she wrote in a post from a Black Men’s Lab fundraising event. “I’m grateful to my village and looking forward to connecting with more organizations that support young black men.”
