Marlo Hampton Opens Up About Getting Emotional During the RHOA Reunion
“It is not easy [baring] your soul on national TV,” the RHOA cast member wrote.
After opening up about her childhood during Part 1 of the latest The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, Marlo Hampton is thanking her friends and followers for their support.
During the Season 14 sit-down, the RHOA cast member got emotional while opening up about her difficult relationship with her mom. She later took to Instagram to share her gratitude for the words of encouragement she’s received in response to the candid conversation.
“THANK YOU! Thank you for all of the calls, texts, emails, and [DMs] of support and encouragement. It is not easy [baring] your soul on national TV,” Marlo wrote in the caption alongside a clip capturing her reunion look.
She went on to add, “I am not making excuses, however, in sharing who I am, where I come from, and what I have been through, hopefully you understand me more AND I help others who are battling issues from their childhood in the process. We are all a work in progress.”
Marlo concluded the post, “Now that I am a Munty, I am committed to confronting my traumas and healing my wounds so that Michael and William can have a great future! THANK YOU ALL.”
On September 15, Marlo took to Instagram to comment on what it was like to get so candid about her upbringing. “There’s only [one] Marlo Patrice Hampton!” she captioned a throwback photo of herself. “And I’m the only one who can tell my story.”
