Earlier this month, Marlo Hampton called upon her "sisters at Bravo" to create an inspiring and empowering PSA in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. The video featured appearances from cast members of various Bravo franchises, including The Real Housewives of Potomac, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Married to Medicine. Now, several of the participants, including RHOP’s Ashley Darby, are expressing their gratitude for being a part of spreading the powerful message.
On June 12, Ashley took to Instagram to share a clip of the emotional PSA. “BLACK LIVES MATTER. When Black women come together, incredible things happen,” she wrote, also adding, “Thank you for putting this together @marlohampton.”
Ashley isn’t the only cast member to thank Marlo for bringing them together to speak out against racial injustice. Castmate Karen Huger also shared a portion of the video on her Instagram, writing, “We are at a pivotal point in history, we have an opportunity to change an unjust system. With courage, unification and continued demand for change, we will dismantle and rebuild a fair and just system for ALL!”
Fellow RHOP ‘Wives Robyn Dixon, Wendy Osefo, and Monique Samuels also took to social media to voice their support.
