Heavenly Kimes Shares an Update on Her Marriage to Damon Kimes
The Married to Medicine cast member reflected on her relationship with her doctor husband.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes has plenty of reasons to celebrate these days.
The Married to Medicine cast member recently sent her youngest child, daughter Alaura Kimes, off to her alma mater, Florida A&M University, for the first time, and she just reached another milestone in her marriage to Dr. Damon Kimes.

Heavenly Kimes’ Anniversary Post for Damon Kimes
The implant dentist commemorated her 26th wedding anniversary to Damon with an August 16 Instagram video featuring photos of the two.
“I’m soo proud to be married to this man [Dr. Damon Kimes]. He is the kindest, most intelligent, well spoken, the most educated [and] humble man I know,” Heavenly captioned her post. “Happy 26th Wedding Anniversary!”
She went on to reflect on the early days of their relationship, writing, “I remember times [when] we were together we used to scrape up money to [go to] the movies or to dinner. We literally grew up together. He is the [yin] to my yang! We [complement] each other so well...”
Heavenly also looked toward the future with her spouse.
“I can honestly say we treat each other with the [utmost] respect and we uplift each other! Damon makes me feel like I can do anything,” she added. “I can’t tell you how much I love this man. He lifts me up when I’m down. He makes me happy when I’m sad. He makes me feel like everything will always be ok! I feel safe with him. Here’s to the next 26 years [and] beyond. Happy Anniversary Daddy!”
Alaura Kimes’ College Journey
Back in June, Heavenly closed a chapter when she said a temporary goodbye to her youngest child, Alaura, as she began her college journey.
“It’s getting real yall[.] I’m driving my baby girl to school today!!” Heavenly wrote on Instagram on June 19. “I know she will be safe and remember everything [I’ve] taught her. A mother’s job is never complete. Thank you God for the beautiful baby girl [Alaura] and may she achieve all of her dreams and more!! She’ll be missed but I’ll be up there every weekend. I love you Mommie! You have made me proud!”
A day later, Heavenly shared some insight on what it was like to drop Alaura off at school.
“My baby better call me every day!” Heavenly shared in the caption of a video showing Alaura moving into her dorm, along with a “proud mom” hashtag.
Like her parents, Alaura is also medically inclined. She began her collegiate career as a biology major on the pre-med track.
