Toya Bush-Harris gives the ladies of Married to Medicine Season 10 a taste of her love of wine and now fans can too. She spoke with The Daily Dish about her love of wine and how it inspired her partnership for the Toya Harris Wine Collection

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

In conversations with her husband Dr. Eugene Harris, she would always say if she didn’t have her own wine, she would want to create something around wines because it’s a part of her lifestyle, Toya said.

“It complements my food, it complements my day,” Toya said. “It’s not even about you know the drinking portion of it. It’s just how it winds you down.”

The Married to Medicine star started her wine collection after being introduced to individuals at Kendall-Jackson, a winery based in California she partnered with

“I see so many things in the future for Toya’s wine collection,” she said. “I’ve always been into wine. I’ve been into the accessories that go with wine and the decanters, the wine glasses.”

She even has a decanter she can bring with her when she’s on the go, Toya said.

“I have one that I travel with and you just basically—it’s like a really pretty glass bulb and you put it in any wine bottle and then you just turn the bottle and it decants the wine,” Toya said. “I have another one that I love at home that’s automatic and it, you know, has batteries basically and once you put it in it, I mean when I tell you it literally ages the wine for a couple of days and it just makes it very, very smooth.”

A catalyst for her love of wine also stemmed from her college days when she had a second job working at a restaurant with an “extensive wine cellar,” according to her wine collection’s page

Her fall selections include a Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and an Alexander Valley Chardonnay.

“I have gotten the chance to taste [Kendall-Jackson’s] African wines,” she said. “Their Napa Valley, Sonoma, all different kinds of wines…I mean, you can’t go wrong.”

In Season 10, Toya is able to introduce some of her collection to the Married to Medicine ladies as a group for the first time, Toya said.

“As an African American group of ladies, we don’t do a lot of wine,” Toya said. “We’ll have Tequila. We’ll have our you know Vodka, and you know the Hennessy and that’s what I guess we were raised drinking or around, but like as you get older…we gotta step it up a notch and wine to me is a step up.”

Wine is one form of her self-care and makes her happy, she explained.

“I don’t have to have it everyday, but I like it everyday,” Toya joked. “At least one glass.”

Her collection will also feature some picks with the Holidays in mind, Toya said.

“I’m always gonna do a little holiday flair, like Champagnes and things of that nature for Christmas and New Years so trust me with this,” Toya said. “I know my wine.”

Her wine collection isn’t the only thing the mom of two is prepping for the holidays.

“I was a little exhausted two years ago and I had someone else come in and decorate my house for the first time and I was like…no,” Toya said. “I got this, cause I love to decorate my tree every year.”

She also plans to host a “five favorite things” party.

“I’m gonna do it with all my friends,” Toya said. “I’m actually going to do a couple one. It’s gonna be a holiday couples party and they bring one thing that is their favorite five times.”

Then guests randomly select names out of a hat and get one of the person’s favorite things, Toya explained.

“Everyone leaves home with five favorite things of somebody else’s,” Toya said.

She teased the guest list saying current and past cast members will be invited.
