Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of Josh Flagg's life. The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent revealed that he's going to be acting in a soap opera next year, and, as it turns out, the role wasn't as hard of a sell as you might think.

When People announced on Wednesday, December 7, that Josh will appear on Days of our Lives in May 2023, the "very excited" MDLLA cast member explained that he acted when he was a child and has a background in theater. "When I was 21, I started doing MDLLA, which is not acting, but helped prepare me to be in front of the camera," he told the magazine.

Though the details of Josh's role in the episode, which is slated to air on May 12, are being kept under wraps for now, he added that the casting team assured him ahead of time that he would "play this particular character very well." The magazine also shared exclusive images from the Days of Our Lives set, showing the Bravoleb wearing a dark suit and toting a folder of documents during a seemingly tense meeting. Sound familiar?

Recalling watching the daytime soap with his mom when he was growing up, Josh has truly been preparing for this role for most of his life. Still, he admitted to having a couple of small challenges on the set.

"There was one line that I could not remember, and we tried over and over again," he added. "Finally I just changed it into my own words and the director loved it, so we just went with my own language."

After People broke the news, the MDLLA agent took to Instagram the same day to pass along all the deets. "Excited to be a soap opera star!" he captioned a screenshot of the article, adding, "Catch me on Days of Our Lives in May 2023."

Naturally, several of his fellow Bravolebs celebrated the announcement right along with him. After fellow MDLLA cast member Tracy Tutor commented, "My favorite soap!" and Summer House's Hannah Berner wrote, "He’s a starrrrrr," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Crystal Kung Minkoff posted, "Omg yes," along with three flame emojis. Added The Real Housewives of Orange County's Heather Dubrow, "This is AMAZING!!!!"
