#MDLNY Season 2 Premiere: A Quick Study Guide

Reacquaint yourself with the cast -- and its newest member! -- before the Season 2 premiere.

By Megan Johnson

With another season of Million Dollar Listing: New York premiering tonight at 10/8c, we thought a quick refresher course on the show’s budding real estate tycoons was necessary.  And in grand MDL tradition, the new season is chock-full of men, money, and cutthroat competition. But a few things have certainly changed since we last checked in with the boys of MDL, including a new cast member.

How to Watch

Catch up on Million Dollar Listing New York on Peacock or the Bravo App.

MDL alpha male Ryan Serhant is having quite the year. Business is booming for the soap actor turned real estate tycoon, and with good looks and business acumen that rival Patrick Bateman, he’s not likely to relinquish that role any day soon. Ryan is destined to be top dog- and he won’t settle for anything less. But according to the season 2 trailer, it looks like things have certainly changed for the real estate star since last season. Is it possible that the heartbreaker is finally settling down?

Selling Beautiful Real Estate Isn't Pretty

He’s the Swedish stud with enough personality to fill a million-dollar loft. As the Managing Director for Prudential Douglas Elliman, Fredrik Eklund is a record-setting shark who scored 28 sales in Manhattan last year, and has even sold apartments to Daniel Craig, Cameron Diaz, and John Legend. But things sure have changed for the social butterfly since last year- He’s recently gotten engaged! But it’s pretty hard to believe that putting a ring on it will keep Fredrik lounging at home on the couch with his hubby at night. So will Fredrik ditch domesticity, or spend his free time cuddling up in his brand new loft he shared with his now-husband?

Fredrik's Crib

There’s a twist for season 2 of MDL, and he goes by the name Luis D. Ortiz. The Puerto Rican real estate phenom is just 26, but his age hasn’t stopped him from becoming a wickedly successful agent who now serves as a Vice President of Keller Williams New York City. A friendly face to everyone he walks by, Luis will always be the first to reach out and say hello. But if you cross Ortiz, watch out!  Here’s a bit more info to give you a look into the life of this Puerto Rican powerhouse, as well as our two returning realtors:
