Meghan King Edmonds Tried to Scare Her "Boyfriend," But There's a Major Twist
The RHOC alum joked about her relationship status in a TikTok prank.
Meghan King Edmonds just pulled a hilarious prank on her “boyfriend.” Well, kind of. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared a funny TikTok where she briefly claimed to have a significant other, but there was a major twist.
On March 30, the mom of three shared a post in which she says, “Check this out, check this out. I’m going to scare my boyfriend so bad. It’s going to be hilarious. Watch.” Meghan then runs and hides behind a bush. But, before you assume that she’s changed her relationship status, you need to watch the rest of the video, where she waits for a moment before coming back out and saying, “Oh! Yeah, I forgot. I don’t have a boyfriend.”
Meghan is one of more than 5,000 women who have taken to TikTok to jump in on the trend of pranking a fake boyfriend only to reveal that they were kidding, but that doesn't mean she's not dating. She recently said that she has been using some of her free time to go on FaceTime dates with potential suitors.
On her podcast, Intimate Knowledge, Meghan revealed that the dates usually consist of sipping on a glass of wine or a cup of coffee while casually chatting.
“It’s so funny,” she explained. “But it’s fun, and there’s no pressure. I kind of like it.”
During the episode, Meghan confirmed that she is definitely single, and that the FaceTime dates have not yet lead to anything incredibly serious. “I haven’t brought anyone around my kids. It’s going to take a long time for somebody special enough for that to happen, which will happen, but not yet,” she said.
