Meghan King Edmonds Is Glad Christmas Is Over — Here's Why
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum said, "I don’t even care if this makes me a Scrooge."
Overall, Meghan King Edmonds had a pretty great Christmas. On Christmas Eve, she hosted some 20 members of her family for a big bash, and pulled the whole thing off "beautifully." But by December 26, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum was feeling a little over the holidays — and ready to get her kids back on their regular schedule.
In an Instagram post the day after the holiday, Meghan got real about holiday stress. "I don’t even care if this makes me a Scrooge but I’m so glad Christmas is over," she wrote. "There I said it." Far from being a Scrooge, Meghan was simply facing stress that every parent can relate to this time of year — and she went on to detail some Christmas kiddie antics from her kids and stepkids.
"Aspen was completely off schedule and a complete holy terror," she confessed. "The twins had stranger danger and couldn’t nap at Mimi and Papa’s house. Landon is obsessed with devices and Fortnite to a potentially concerning degree (imho). Sutton loves bossing Aspen who hates it and screaming from both of them ensues. Aspen was weirded out that Santa moved the fireplace screen, then she opened two presents and was over it. She had more time-outs in a two day period than all other days combined and would rather go to time-out than say sorry (won’t even say it to the dog)."
But, all's well that ends well: "Today we are back to regularly scheduled programming and I’m jumping for joy!" she wrote. Need proof? Check out Meghan literally jumping for joy, below.
