Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga Break Down Their Favorite Relationship Moments

We dare you not to swoon as the #RHONJ couple gushes about their life together.

It's turns out that with Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga, what you see is what you get. While the Real Housewives of New Jersey couple has faced some drama over the years, they remain as much in love with each other as the day he popped the question 11 years ago — which, by the way, just so happens to be Melissa's favorite memory with her longtime love.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

"My favorite [moment] is the day that he proposed to me. Because it was just special, it was different and he surprised me," Melissa told The Daily Dish at sister-in-law Teresa Giudice's book party last week. "I thought I was just going somewhere for my birthday, I opened the door and he was inside the room with flowers and he wasn't even supposed to be there." And Melissa has not lost her love of the unexpected through the years. "My best day with you was definitely the day you asked me to marry you," she told her husband. "'Cause you surprised me. I like surprises. You really haven't surprised me in a while. I need a new surprise. Step up your game!"

Regardless of where Joe is in planning out his next big surprise for Mrs. Gorga, it was a little easier for him to choose his favorite moment with his wife. "My favorite memories is having our three children [Antonia, Gino, and Joey], 'cause we were just watching home videos and it brought us back," he recalled. "That was amazing." Melissa and Joe even invited their kids along for the trip down memory lane. "I let each child watch their birth [video]," Melissa said. "I had three C-sections, so they each watched themselves get pulled out of my belly. They couldn't believe that I was sitting on the couch crying. They were like, 'Why are you crying?' And I was like, 'Because you came out of my body.' It was so emotional."

Fans will get even more lovey-dovey moments from the pair when RHONJ returns later this year. But what else can we expect? "You know you're gonna see me open my new store which is Envy. And you're going to see some struggles that I have to go through with that, just being a mom and getting pulled in different directions — I have a jewelry line at HSN, also. Just kind of trying to manage it all, being a busy mom and getting back to family," she said. "Joe and I do family best. We're strong like that. It's our No. 1 thing. All the other things in life we struggle at — trying to make ends meet and trying to figure out how we're gonna juggle everything — but when it comes down to our kids, that's where we're strong. We know how to do that. We got that."
