Melissa Gorga Comments on the "Explosion of Dialogue" Around the RHONJ Premiere: “It Felt Very Old School”

We guess you can say that Season 11 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is off to an emotional start. Following the February 17 premiere, everyone was talking about every buzzy moment.

Now that we're a couple weeks into Season 11 of RHONJ, Andy Cohen couldn't help but bring up that season premiere in the Clubhouse this week when one of the RHONJ cast members made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: "Melissa [Gorga], were you surprised by all of the explosion of dialogue about last week's [premiere] episode after it aired online?"

"Andy, it felt very old school to me," Melissa said, before explaining, "And I know you've been around a long time to see how it used to be in Seasons 3 and 4 on Twitter and the fans and the craziness, I was getting that vibe last week again. They were going nuts last week. They were going crazy. It definitely had that feel that they are into it and they have opinions, big opinions."

Back in December, Andy commented on that season premiere and every unforgettable moment of it when Margaret Josephs was on the WWHL: "By the way, Marg, I watched the premiere of your show last night and it was spectacular and very dramatic, packed a lot of punch."

But, it sounds like the drama is just getting started, as Andy noted on WWHL this week, "There's a whole lot more to come."

Previously, Melissa previewed Season 11 in an interview with Us Weekly. “This season, it’s very raw. It’s very real. It’s very different this season for Joe and I,” Melissa said earlier this month. “We’ve done very good for 11 years. We’re a great couple. We try really hard. We fight really hard for our family, and it’s not easy to be on reality TV for 11 years and still stand strong... It’s not easy. We’re struggling."
