Melissa Gorga Takes You Inside a "Cozy" Sunday in the Fall at Her House (PHOTO)
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member is getting her home perfectly comfy this October in time for Halloween.
Melissa Gorga is officially in the fall spirit, and her home is following suit. The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member is no stranger to decorating her house for the seasons, and this autumn is shaping out to be very cozy.
The Envy by Melissa Gorga boutique owner took to her Instagram Story on Sunday, October 6 where she captured a scene from her home. Melissa snapped a photo of her side table, covered by a wine glass with water and a lemon slice in it, alongside a glass of red wine. She continued to set the scene with a pumpkin-scented candle from Snif, and a jack-o-lantern sitting in her office.
"Sunday," the mom of three wrote over the photo. Between running her boutiques, attending her sons' football games and transporting them to football practice, Melissa stays busy. So, it would make sense for her to want to relax on the weekend with a few beverages and decorations to really get into the spirit.
Melissa Gorga's house decor for Halloween
Melissa's home is also decorated with the cutest Halloween decorations to match her chic sense of style. Melissa posted one photo to her Instagram feed, taken in her entryway, of her black and white printed skulls and cheeky little plaque. "A witch and her little monsters live here with one handsome devil!" the sign reads.
This could not be any more true, since Melissa is the mom of three children — daughter Antonia and teenage sons, Gino and Joey Gorga — with her husband Joe Gorga.
Why October is Melissa Gorga's favorite month out of the year
In case her home decorations weren't enough proof, Melissa is officially in the fall mood. During an Amazon Live stream on Monday, October 7, Melissa opened up about how excited she was about this new season. "I feel like fall is in the air," she said.
During the livestream, Melissa pointed out the Snif candle in her home and emphasized how amazing they are. "These are the best smelling candles I'm obsessed with both of them," she explained. "All October, all November, this is what's lit in my house, as you can see."
She added, "I had it lit last night I posted it on Instagram. I sit next to this every single night. It makes your whole house smell like fall and beautiful."
"This is the time of year for cozy," Melissa concluded, noting that out of all the months October is her favorite. "I don't know what it is about October, I feel good in October, I feel like things change in October, I feel like good news comes in October, good things happen in October, I met Joe Gorga in October, I'll never forget that...because October has always been my favorite, favorite month."
Melissa Gorga's Outdoor Fall 2023 Decorations
Last year, Melissa also took to Instagram where she showed off the decor on the exterior of her New Jersey home. The stairs leading up to the front porch of her house had been decorated with mounds of orange, white, and green pumpkins and gourds. The subtle yet beautiful decorations were perfect for visitors and trick-or-treaters.
"Rainy days with pumpkins On Display," Melissa wrote in the caption of the post. "I love fall!"
