Is Melissa Gorga Ready to Settle Her Beef with Jacqueline Laurita?
"It's just not working and I don't need it," the #RHONJ mom said about the friendship on #WWHL.
Melissa Gorga is not ready to make amends with Jacqueline Laurita. The women have definitely had their share of issues this season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and the Envy boutique owner shared on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday that despite the fact that their husbands, Joe Gorga and Chris Laurita, tried to hash out their wives' issues, she doesn't see them mending their fractured friendship anytime soon.
"Yeah, no, at this point I don't feel that way. I just kind of feel like I'm at that age, I'm at that point in my life like [where] if it's not easy, I don't want it and once I feel like someone digs and tries to hurt," she said. "I think Jaqueline wrote a whole entire blog about me last week, it was dedicated to Melissa Gorga, and I still can't figure out what I've done to her yet. It's just one of those things. It's just not working and I don't need it. I like to go out and have fun and have drinks on the weekend and I don't want to just sit and talk about other people and talk about housewives all day and that's what Jacqueline does."
She then shared her take on whether she thinks Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania are intimidated by Jacqueline. "I think as one of Jacqueline's friends, or used to be one, there's a lot of pressure to stand by her side and say the right thing," she said. "Not direct pressure. You can almost feel the sense of you need to agree with her and if you disagree even a little bit, which I think that's what happened with me, I disagreed on small things and it turned into a big problem. I wasn't agreeing with everything she said. Something as little as like, 'I think Teresa's changing.' 'Well, I don't think she's changing.' Well I'm like, 'I think she is. You have to give her a chance.' That was enough to be like, 'Well, now I'm done and I'm going to squeal about everything you said to me.'"
