As the summer winds down, Melissa Gorga and her kids are looking toward their next chapters.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member, who shares daughter Antonia and sons Gino and Joey Jr. with her husband, Joe Gorga, is getting ready for a unique back-to-school season.
Unlike in years past, Melissa and Joe will be sending one of their kids off to college this fall, and another is preparing for his next step in his football journey.

Joey Gorga Jr.’s Football Season
Joe and Melissa’s youngest son is gearing up for another football season. Melissa shared photos of her son on the field on her Instagram Stories on August 14.
“My [heart],” Melissa wrote alongside a photo of Joey Jr. on the football field.
Joey also expressed his excitement for the upcoming season on his own Instagram feed.
“Can’t wait,” he captioned a post featuring four photos of him at practice.
Antonia Gorga’s College Prep
Meanwhile, the RHONJ cast member’s eldest child is getting ready for a brand-new chapter: college.
Back in May, Antonia shared the exciting news that she will be attending the University of Delaware in the fall of 2023. On August 14, Antonia posted an Instagram video detailing her packing process, and she noted that it was “almost time” for her to leave.
In the post’s comments, Melissa added that Antonia was less than a week away from her big move, while her dad joked “Don’t leave me” in his own message.
Melissa also posted a video of Antonia’s suitcase and joked that she “would jump in” if she could.
Shortly before she started packing, Antonia celebrated another major milestone. The RHONJ kid turned 18 on August 12, and she commemorated the occasion with a pink cake and a dinner with her parents and siblings.
Between Joey’s time on the field and the beginning of Antonia’s college journey, the Gorgas certainly have a lot to celebrate these days!
