Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice definitely got into it during Part 2 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, with Teresa expressing that she felt like her sister-in-law wasn't on her side. Melissa was surprised by Teresa's sentiment at the reunion, which she said to her immediately. Following the reunion, she spoke to The Daily Dish podcast about what Teresa told her and how she feels now that she's had time to reflect.
"I'm still freaking confused about it, to be honest," Melissa admitted. "It definitely took me back a little bit. I was in shock over a lot of things she said because I had just seen her a couple days before and we were fine and we had dinner together. So I was very taken aback and I have to say, I was a little insulted, 'cause I feel like we've come so far so if you're going to sucker punch me or side-swipe me, give me a heads-up at this point."
Melissa revealed what she thinks is behind Teresa's change of heart about their relationship. "I do think that she is annoyed that I see Jackie [Goldschneider]'s side more than I see her side with this or that I'm even defending Jackie a little bit, but I'm so sick of the double standard because Teresa defends Danielle [Staub] on everything she does. Teresa defended Jennifer [Aydin] when she threatened me and broke a glass in front of my face. So if I defend and try to explain what Jackie meant by something she was saying, I'm going to do that. I am no longer going to sit back and be like, 'OK, well I don't want to insult nobody.'" ... I'm going to speak my truth... I didn't see Teresa screaming at Jennifer saying, 'Don't threaten my sister-in-law.' She didn't do that. So I'm just sick of the double standards and I'm just not here for it anymore and everyone's just going to have to deal with the new Melissa because I'm really freaking sick of it all."
So where do the sisters-in-law stand today? "We're fine; I mean, I'm not going to lie, there was a little tension after the reunion. I just was like, leave me alone, I don't want to speak for a couple of days. I get annoyed. I'm insulted, I was a little insulted. I'm like, we're family, man; if you had something going on and you wanted to talk about it, why did you wait until we sat right on the couch next to Andy [Cohen]? Even Andy looked confused; he was looking at me cross-eyed. He was like, 'What's happening here?' I'm like, "I don't know. I don't know.' Everybody was confused which I didn't like because we've come so far, like, don't sucker-punch me. Come on, you little sneak. I didn't like that."
