Mercedes “MJ” Javid on Relationship with Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi: “I’d Like to Mend Fences”
The Shahs of Sunset mom says she’s sending GG “love from afar.”
Mercedes “MJ” Javid is opening up about where her relationship with Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi currently stands. During her recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen @ Home, the Shahs of Sunset cast member admitted that the two have “hurt each other” in the past, but that she’s hoping to “mend fences” and resurrect their friendship.
MJ got candid about the issues that she and GG have faced in their relationship, revealing that she believes miscommunication is partly to blame. “I think that we’ve hurt each other, and I think that each time that one of us hurt the other person that we were not compassionate or aware that we were hurting each other,” she said. “And I think that neither Golnesa or me are good at expressing our feelings when we’re hurt.”
Though their friendship has been rocky as of late, MJ says she still has hope that she and GG will be able to reconcile in the future. “I do have a lot of prayer that I am going to be able to make amends with Golnesa in the future, because we’re both moms,” she said. “We’ve had a lot of really good times.”
After recalling some of the fun “all-year-round trips” that she and GG have taken together, MJ reiterated her wish to move forward with their friendship, stating, “I’d like to mend fences. I’d like to see us not to let our story end that way.”
