Meredith Marks' Father Has Passed Away After a Battle with Alzheimer's
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member shared how she will be honoring her late father.
Meredith Marks is opening up about the recent loss of her father.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member shared in a video in her Instagram Story on February 23 that her father passed away last week. "Hi, everybody. I hope you're doing well. I had a difficult time last week. I lost my father," Meredith shared. "He had suffered from Alzheimer's and dementia for the latter part of his life."
Meredith went on to share how she will be honoring her late father. "And so this week, I will be donating a portion of all proceeds from our sales [from her jewelry company] to the Alzheimer's Association of Chicago," Meredith said. "Additionally, I will be on Cameo for one week only and donating all proceeds to the Alzheimer's Association of Chicago."
Meredith ended her message, "Be safe and be well, and thank you for all your support."
She also shared a couple of photos of her dad from her childhood in a post on Instagram on February 23. "Please join me in raising awareness for the incurable Alzheimer’s disease," Meredith added in the post.
Meredith received lots of love in the comments section of her Instagram post, not only from her son, Brooks, but also from her Bravo family, including Sonja Morgan, D'Andra Simmons, Lisa Barlow, Kary Brittingham, Mary Cosby, and Andy Cohen.
