Karen Huger Says She Is "Very Disappointed" in Michael Darby After His Alleged Comments on RHOP
Robyn Dixon claimed she heard Ashley Darby's husband say something shocking at a party.
Karen Huger didn't attend the party for Ashley Darby's uncle in Sunday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac (she was spending time with her family). So when she saw Robyn Dixon claim in the episode that she heard Ashley's husband, Michael Darby, make a pretty shocking comment that night, she was definitely not pleased.
Karen watched the moment where Robyn said she heard Michael say, "I remember hearing out of Michael's mouth, 'Yeah, I would suck his dick,'" during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Sunday night (clip above). "I'm very disappointed to see that, to be honest," Karen shared her thoughts on the moment during the show.
The RHOP grand dame shared more of her reaction to the episode, as well as her thoughts on the sexual assault allegations against Michael that we'll see later on this season, in the above clip. The charges against Michael were ultimately dropped.
Ashley addressed Michael's alleged comment at her uncle's party during an interview with The Daily Dish prior to the airing of Sunday night's episode. "When I hear that Robyn is going to talk about what Michael supposedly said about wanting to suck someone's dick, the issue there is that there's a discrepancy in relation to what Chris [Bassett] heard, what Candiace [Dillard Bassett] heard, and what Robyn heard. So three people who were supposedly [there] at the same time to hear the same thing heard different things," Ashley explained. "And allegedly, the conversation was had with Chris, who heard something completely different than what Robyn is saying Michael said."
Ashley also said she has doubts about the accuracy of Robyn's statement because she and Candiace had been drinking that night. "I'd really like to see this episode because like, I remember how things are happening then because I didn't drink. Everyone else got hammered drunk throughout the night, but because it was my uncle's party I stayed fairly sober," she said. "So I really did try to contain myself and everyone else went ham. So I was pretty sober, and I thought, 'I have a pretty good recollection as to what's happening and what everyone said.' So that really caught me off-guard because I was there, and if I didn't hear that and I was more sober than you, who should I really trust: my own ears or your limoncello ears?"
