Does James Harris Finally Know Who Michael Rapaport Is?

When you're dealing with multi-million dollar real estate as James Harris and David Parnes do on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, you're bound to cross paths with celebrities every now and again. We saw just that earlier this season of MDLLA as James showed a house to actor, comedian, and well-known Real Housewives superfan Michael Rapaport.  

James was definitely not in danger of becoming starstruck during the showing since he admitted that he had no idea who Michael was. "Not a bloody clue!" James emphasized to The Daily Dish. 

As Michael poked fun at James' stature and tested out the shower while touring the home, the MDLLA agent couldn't believe this was real life. "It's so bizarre because I wasn't sure if the entire showing was a complete wind-up, and it just got stranger and stranger and stranger. And he started saying some really crazy things," James said. "But what an incredibly funny character. I mean, I was blown away by everything that came out of that man's mouth... But he is hysterical, and I really like him. He's brilliant." 

James had to go solo during this showing while David was away in London to be by his brother's side as he dealt with his health issues. But he was just as perplexed by Michael when he watched the episode. "When I watched it, I was like, who the f*** is Michael Rapaport? But fortunately, I wasn't in front of the camera to not know who he was," he told The Daily Dish. "I thought it was hilarious. I think he handled it really well because if I was in that position, I wouldn't know what to do either. It's like, the guy came off as being crazy, but I guess that's just part of his charm." 

For the record, James does know who Michael is now. "Yes, I now do, and I listen to his podcast [I Am Rapaport], which is absolutely brilliant," he said. 

As for Michael saying that James and David's boss at The Agency, Mauricio Umansky, looked like actor John Turturro, well, let's just say the MDLLA agents couldn't deny the resemblance, either. "That's so funny. And then the image came up. They're the double of each other!" James said. "Mauricio's just a better looking, younger dude. But they look absolutely similar."

Do you think Mauricio Umansky looks like actor John Turturro? 

David agreed. "It was quite amazing, actually, to see the side-by-side," he said. "But Mauricio's much better looking."

Mauricio actually sees it too, according to James. "I showed Mauricio. He was in hysterics. He said it was going 'round on Twitter for a long time that they looked similar," James said. "Bloody ridiculous."
