Michelle Lally Confirms What Really Happened with *That Director*: “It’s Really Funny …”
Michelle said the narrative around her relationship with the celebrity director was "very twisted in a lot of ways."
The Valley’s Michelle Saniei Lally dished about her new boyfriend amidst her ongoing divorce from Jesse Lally, but some have wondered if he was the same unnamed director mentioned throughout Season 1.
In an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, the luxury real estate agent said things between her and the father of her child were “complicated at times,” though both are now dating other people. Michelle also wanted to set the record straight, admitting it was easy to see why audiences of The Valley were “confused” about whether her new man was the all-famous albeit unnamed director fans have heard so much about.
Here's the deal:
Is Michelle Lally's new boyfriend the director?
It turns out that the new boyfriend, financial advisor Aaron Nosler, and the “super famous” director rumored to haunt Chateau Marmont are two different people, Michelle confirmed to The Daily Dish.
“This is a new relationship,” Michelle said. “It’s actually really funny to see everything on T.V. now. I think people got really confused in what I do in real estate.”
According to Michelle — and as supported by Jesse when he defended Michelle in Season 1 — Michelle’s work in real estate typically requires “networking and building relationships,” she told The Daily Dish.

Before he and Michelle announced their split ahead of The Valley premiere, Jesse stated during filming, “I think when you are secure enough in a relationship or in yourself, you trust Michelle’s not going to do anything.”
“If she does something, then that’s on her," Jesse continued regarding cheating rumors surrounding Michelle.
Michelle Lally denies cheating on Jesse Lally with the director
Michelle denied cheating on Jesse but claimed she regularly communicated with the director at the hotel that frequents many-a celebrity and is just a rock’s throw from the Lally home.
“There were a lot of actors and actresses and directors, and just wealthy individuals that I meet on a constant basis,” Michelle continued. “And I think that was very twisted in a lot of ways.”
She doubled down that the relationship was not romantic and kept mum when asked about the director’s identity.
“It’s work, so I want to keep that private,” said Michelle.
Michelle Lally Talks New Boyfriend
Michelle told The Daily Dish that things between her and Nosler were “serious.”
“Dating has been very good for me. We instantly clicked, and we like the same things, so it’s just been really positive,” said Michelle. “I’m super happy with him. Him and I get along really, really well.”
Michelle said she even let her and Jesse’s 4-year-old daughter, Isabella Bunny, become acquainted with Michelle’s new man.
“Isabella loves him,” said Michelle. “He’s great with children and with Isabella, and I couldn’t ask for anything more right now.”
Will Aaron Nosler appear on The Valley?
While it’s yet to be confirmed whether a second season of The Valley is in the works, Michelle said she wasn’t sure if Aaron would make an appearance.
“I think he’s considering it,” Michelle confessed to The Daily Dish. “But we’re in such a good place, and I just don’t want that to be affected in any way.”
For now, Michelle said she was thankful for Aaron’s support.
“I think [given] his age, he’s kind of ready to find a serious relationship, and he knows that I am going through what I am going through, and I didn’t know what was going to happen,” the mother of one continued. “I was happy being alone and single. I’m not really dating a bunch of people; I’m not that type of person.”
Things changed, however, once she dated Aaron.
“As soon as I went on a date with him, and I really liked him, then we just kind of went for it," she said.
