Kandi Reacts to the Cynthia and Mike Wedding Conversation that Made Him Shut Off the Camera
The RHOA cast member opens up about the couple's emotional wedding conversation.
When it came time for Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill to plan out their wedding, the conversations were, at times, emotional.
In fact, during the December 20 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the topic became so heated that Mike shut off the camera in the car as he and his future bride were trying to work out the details of a wedding in a pandemic and their varying viewpoints on the matter.
Cynthia wanted to try and keep their October date as well as keep the wedding arrangements on the larger side; Mike seemed to feel differently and was wanted to try to make a different plan if they couldn't make their original full-scale wedding plan work.
When Kandi Burruss appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, she offered her take on the matter after Andy Cohen asked if he should be "more patient" with his bride.
"I got where Mike was coming from but at the same time I kind of understood where Cynthia was coming from," Kandi said. "This is her big day. She's never gonna do it again. This is, hopefully, the last marriage she's ever going to have, so she really wants to have that moment. Even though, for him, I got what he was, like, 'do you want to marry me or not?'"
Mike and Cynthia did eventually work it all out and married on their planned date of October 10, 2020. The event was on the larger side with family and friends like Kandi in attendance.
But fans will definitely have to keep tuning in to find out how the couple got there as Season 13 of RHOA rolls along.
