Fredrik Eklund on Tracy Tutor Maltas' Divorce: "I Just Want Her to Be Strong and Happy"

Real estate may be a notoriously competitive and cutthroat industry, but Tracy Tutor Maltas has found a friend in Fredrik Eklund this season of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles and vice versa. Fredrik gave Tracy some valuable advice on working with real estate developers, and Tracy, who is mom to two daughters of her own, gave Fredrik some insight into what it's like being a parent as he prepared to welcome his twins into the world.

And now Fredrik is showing his support to Tracy once again following the news that she filed for divorce from her husband, Jason Maltas, after 13 years of marriage. "We have mutual friends, like Julie on my team knows her really well. Adam on my team knows her really well. I let them know that if there's anything she needs, then I'm there," Fredrik recently told The Daily Dish. "I just want her to be strong and happy." 

The news of Tracy's divorce was revealed in the Season 10 finale of MDLLA. "Tracy's been expanding her business & landed her first new development in West Hollywood," the update in the episode read. "She recently filed for divorce from her husband Jason. They're both committed to co-parenting and their primary focus remains their two daughters."

Fredrik also shared with The Daily Dish that he thought Tracy was a welcome addition to MDLLA, especially as the first female agent in the series. "It's important to have females, even on this cast, because the majority of [the agents] are female in this industry," he said. "I was so excited to see her on [MDLLA]." 

Fredrik and Tracy have kept in touch since they high-kicked and bitch-slapped up a storm in New York City (you'll see what we mean in the above clip). The Million Dollar Listing New York agent even said that Tracy gave him one of the best baby gifts for his twins after little Milla and Fredrick were born on November 28, 2017. "I think of all the baby gifts, not like it's a competition or anything, but she sent us the most beautiful. I feel so indebted to her, because it's like French labels, gorgeous, amazing. These insane outfits that are handmade from France, Paris, the most gorgeous packaging," Fredrik gushed. "I was like crying, 'Oh, I want those in my sizes.'"
